Coaches and Management

Justin Oliver is the head coach for an 18u Breakers team. Justin has over 18 years of varsity coaching experience. He is a former MLB scout and recruiting lead at CEFS. He is the head coach of the Leigh High School varsity softball team. In 2024, he led the Leigh Longhorns to a CCS regional semifinals appearance. In addition to coaching, Justin specializes in college recruitment.

Steve Handel is the head coach for a 16u Breakers team. He has more than 20 years of softball coaching experience. Steve is a former umpire in chief and league travel director. He is a former coach at Leigh High Softball, coaching the Longhorns for 8 years. Steve has coached the Breakers in competing in over 15 championships.

Mikka Dixon is the head coach for the East Bay Breakers 14u and 16u teams. She is a two sport athlete, playing both basketball and softball on Varsity for all 4 years in High School and then moving on to play in Junior College at San Jose City College and De Anza College. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from SJSU with a BA in Child and Adolescent Development. Mikka has acquired a number of certifications; including sports performance and sports nutrition, inclusion and special needs education, and sports therapy. She is an engaging communicator and educator with a proven track record in working with athletes of all ages. She has trained numerous athletes who have gone on and played at the NCAA level and professionally overseas. Currently she is the Assistant Softball Coach at Chabot College in Hayward, CA where she has been since 2018.

AJ Santana is a coach for a 16u Breakers team bringing with him 20 years of coaching experience. AJ has coached travel softball teams for over 10 years and his extensive background includes a long tenure as a coach for the Overfelt High School varsity team, a role he has held for the past 8 years. He also played at the collegiate level, giving him valuable insight into high-level competition and player development.

Travis Hider is a coach for an 18u Breakers team. He has more than 10 years of coaching experience and is an assistant coach for the Leigh High School varsity softball team. Travis has dedicated years to developing talent and preparing athletes for the next level.

Lloyd Molina is a head coach for an 18u Breakers team. He has an extensive background in the local area, including coaching with Overfelt High School in the past. Lloyd brings a wealth of experience from over 20 years of coaching at the high school level and more than 15 years of experience coaching travel ball.

Rich Valencia is the head coach for a 14u Breakers team. He is also the head coach at Gunderson High School, bringing a wealth of experience from over 15 years of coaching at the high school level and more than 15 years of experience coaching travel ball. Rich also played at the collegiate level, giving him valuable insight into the next level of the game.

Ray Casorla is a coach for 14u and 16u Breakers teams. He is seasoned coach with more than 10 years of experience coaching travel ball. Ray's extensive background includes coaching at the high school level for Overfelt High School, and he brings valuable insight from his time as a collegiate player. 

Ryan Farsai is the front office GM. He has more than 10 years of coaching experience. Ryan’s past experience spans from being a former league president, to head coach and recruitment director. Under Ryan’s programs, his travel teams have competed in over 25 championships.
